EDUCATION

• Education: Bachelor Degree with emphasis in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.
  
• Experience: Minimum Three (3) years' of experience in financial reporting and/or financial planning required. Healthcare experience preferred.
  
• Certification: CPA or MBA is preferred.
  
• Other: Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. - Ability to work with a culturally diverse population. - Ability to - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - work effectively with all levels of management.

  ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES
  @R=at risk for exposure to blood borne pathogens
  
  
• Work closely with all levels of management to provide financial guidance, perspective and training.
  
• Assists in the preparation and completion of the monthly financial statements.
  
• Act as Hyperion Financial Manager (HFM) Administrator.
  
• Completes assigned Ascension Health Hard Close reports.
  
• Monitor fixed assets including approval process, spending, availability, monthly recording and reporting.
  
• Prepares monthly bank reconciliations including the investigation and resolution of outstanding/reconciling items.
  
• Acts as primary point of contact between LHN and banking institutions.
  
• Coordinates financial planning and budgeting process.
  
• Prepares and distributes key financial information to aid in operational decision making and external reporting.
  
• Analyze and investigate actual to budget variances for volumes, revenues and expenses.
  
• Work in conjunction with management to create business plans/pro formas for existing, new, and proposed services.
  
• Aid in capital project development, capital spending prioritization and capital monitoring.
  
• Assist in hospital audit.
  
• Prepares IRS Forms 990 and 990T.
  
• Prepares and facilitates Lourdes Counseling Center outpatient funding and program reporting.
