Job SummaryThe Accounts Payable and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks that allow for the successful completion of accounts payable tasks in addition to supporting the Executive Leadership Team in day-to-day operations for a growing organization. This position will report directly to the HR Director and will perform a variety of financial functions to support the accounts payable department, assist with mail room duties as needed, track and manage the company cell phone program, event planning and coordination, and Executive Leadership Team administrative support.This is a full-time, hourly position.Hourly Wage: $14.50 - $17 (dependent on experience)Job ResponsibilitiesPerform financial calculations, such as amounts due, interest charges, balances, discounts, equity, and principalReconcile or note and report discrepancies found in recordsCalculate, prepare, and issue bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial statements according to established procedures.Compile statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.Reconcile records of bank transactions.Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.Maintain inventory records.Be available as a resource for executive leadership team on projectsArrange travel for members of the executive leadership team and company guestsAssist in the planning and coordination of company-sponsored eventsAdministrative duties including accounts receivable, vendor support, audit assistance, and recordkeepingAssist employees with any issues or concerns with the company cell phone programData entry for company reports and recordkeepingJob QualificationsAssociate degree or 1+ year experience working accounting or bookkeepingAbility to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and meeting deadlinesKnowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking, and the analysis and reporting of financial data.Excellent problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal communication skillsExcels in both collaborative and solo projects and environments.Must be willing and able to travel to offsite training sessions as neededStrong communication and organizational skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.#INDHP15Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
