Job Description Summary:
Summary: The Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of network and/or application Infrastructure with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects in a Global Enterprise environment.

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Participate in all aspects of the infrastructure life cycle for Enterprise Network, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance.
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity.
• Plan and implement network changes in a high availability environment.
• Work with deployment teams and data center operations providing support during new capacity additions and changes on the Enterprise network.
• Maximizing network performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
• Installing and configuring Infrastructure equipment.
• Creating firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected.
• Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating infrastructure issues to other employees and management.
• Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems.
• Installing and maintaining operating environments.
• Monitoring these operating environments.
• Updating any software and hardware where necessary. Education and/or Experience:
  • Tech School/Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred;
  • 3-5 or more years related experience, of which should be with hands on architecting, designing, developing, and implementing infrastructure solutions; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
