Job Description Summary
The Sr Manager of Global Packaging drives and supports the development of Spend Area practices for all Packaging Materials, including sourcing strategy definition, deployment, and stakeholder management, to maximize total cost of ownership savings and Procurement value contribution. Utilizes various practices from leading practice sharing of global end-to-end strategic Spend Area management to ensure best leveraging of our global scale and resources. Works in collaboration with Regional/Country Sourcing Managers to understand business needs, regional market insights, risks and opportunities, and help drive Regional and local Procurement goals. The Global Packaging Lead drives Procurement value contribution to Lamb Weston while ensuring compliance with policies, strategies and processes.

Job Description

* Lead global strategy development and planning of the Packaging Spend Area to drive country/regional and global business expectations. Lead global supplier negotiation strategy and process. Support strategy execution across all regions.
* Leverage sourcing teams located in the different regions/countries to build knowledge base and insights Collaborate with regional sourcing/country local sourcing teams to understand regional business needs, market insights, risks and opportunities. Leverage regional/country sourcing teams to create standardize process of building fact base, internal and external benchmarking and implement as part of the sourcing strategy. Set goals and drive KPI's in accordance with the global Procurement vision.
* Support stakeholder engagement, collaboration of teams, and supplier relationships Identify and manage the connectivity of the Packaging teams with functional stakeholders, suppliers and internal Procurement teams. Manage stakeholder engagement and alignment throughout the end-to-end sourcing process. Support/Lead global supplier relationship management (SRM) program for the Packaging area --- Manage commercial supplier relationships and contracts for global Global Packaging
* Share best practices for all global Packaging. Lift and shift best practices from one region/country to other regions. Ensure standardization of processes and tools in coordination with other Spend Area leads. Drive harmonized global approach towards end-to-end sourcing practices (strategy to compliance).
* Coordinate delivery of assigned Regional/Country and global KPI's . Manage delivery of margin, innovation, cash flow and other deliverables for Packaging Area. Be a point person responsible for delivery of goals for the assigned Spend Area.
* Lead/Support and participate in key initiatives such has bid events, supplier negotiation, risk management and quality issues impacting multiple regions/countries Lead overall margin agenda and days payable outstanding for the Packaging Area .Active guidance and contribution to regional margin management and cash flow meetings.
* Productivity and Payment Terms recording and tracking. Lead and guide the objectives for the sessions with internal customers to identify further Total Cost of Ownership reduction opportunities for the Packaging area.

Job Qualifications

* 10+ years of business experience in all aspects of sourcing processes including relationship management, contract negotiation and project management; or equivalent professional experience in other closely related fields/industries.
* Packaging Industry/Products Knowledge is a must.
* Possess the ability and knowledge to negotiate, manage and enforce complex agreements.
* Strong experience in coordinating and managing multiple vendors and preferred vendors.
* Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to interact and consult with all levels in the business units
