For more information, visit ***************. Job Summary Job Profile Summary: Responsible for the revenue generation and market share growth in a defined geographic area. Manages activities of the sales force to attain maximum sales volume and developing maximum potential volume from all markets for the division's products and/or services. Essential Functions: Travels to all defined geographic areas on a regular basis and works together with all Sales Representatives. Facilitates access to resources, participates in sales campaigns, and contributes to sales strategy. Frequently reports to the second level of sales or operations management. * Focus on increasing revenue through directing and motivating sales staff, and discovering and entering new markets. * May have responsibility for both direct and indirect sales professionals. * Maintain sales staff through assisting Area Directors in effective and efficient recruiting and motivational strategies. * Train staff on company procedures and policies for any and all new sales products. * Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to sales representatives. * Collaborate with local sales teams to set all goals and sales targets for individuals and team. Ensure that all sales representatives understand goals. * Monitor sales representatives activities and overall effectiveness in their positions. Reviews regular results assessments of sales staff productivity and reports to management * Does not have direct selling responsibility with a personal quota. Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used * Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Typical Education * Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred * 6+ years sales experience preferred but not required.
