Job Description:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting
surgeons in the OR. Operating Room Registered Nurses will prep the
operating room and the patient for surgery and make positive that
all medical equipment is sterile and operating
properly.ResponsibilitiesOperating Room Registered Nurse
responsibilities include:
Assessing the health of the patient before, during and after the
operation.
Predict what the surgeons need and hand medical instruments and
medical supplies to them during operations.
Collecting and labeling any items needed for lab work.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR Registered Nurse within
the past two years.
Active RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart
Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
