CRNA opening: La Grande, Oregon J1/H1 Eligible Position Details
- Full-time, permanent- Hospital employed- Epic EMR- Join 4
full-time CRNA's, 1 MDA and serving a local population of 35,000
residents- Call is required: One night a week & one weekend a
month, average.- There is not Anesthesiologist oversight, one is
onsite, the CRNAs are LIPs.- Currently building a new OR suite to
house 5 new ORs, 2 endoscopy suites (which can flex to 2 additional
ORs), 15 pre/post-op rooms, and 7 PACUs- Four 10-hour days per
week- 5 FTE group plus 1 CRNA float who provides pain management
services- Level IV Trauma Center Compensation - Very competitive
salary: (270K+)- Quality incentives up to 20K annually- Signing
bonus: 30K- 8K annual CME, licensing dues, subscription- Loan
repayment (student)- Full benefits including a 401k match- 52 days

certainly be a plus as well as someone who is comfortable in a
small town.- Hospital has signed 40 providers in the past 3 years
and had tremendous recruitment success. Other specialties include:
- Cardiology, ENT, Ortho, Podiatry, Urology, Nephrology,
Ophthalmology, Ob/Gyn, Peds, and a robust panel of primary care
providers. About the Hospital: - 501(c)3 Not-for Profit- Group

the county seat of La Grande, where the remainder of its clinics
are located. Location - Located in Northeast Oregon, La Grande is
nestled within the mountain ranges that dominate our landscape Blue
Mountains to the west and Eagle Caps to the southeast. - These
mountains surround the Grande Ronde Valley, the second largest
enclosed valley in the world and home to the Group since 1907. -

With a four-season climate, Union County is home to many outdoor
activities and sports year round. - Summer and spring offer
opportunities for all styles of fishing; as well as kayaking and
swimming, camping, bird watching, hiking, four-wheeling and
trail-riding on mountain bike or horseback. - The Mount Emily
Recreation Area (MERA) is just two miles from La Grande, providing
nearly 3,700 acres of year-round access to the Blue Mountains. - In
winter, MERA is popular spot for back-country skiing and
snow-shoeing. - Union County is home to Eastern Oregon University,
founded in 1929, and also home to the OHSU School of Nursing
on-campus program. Oregon Tax Credit: The State of Oregon offers an
income tax credit of 5,000 for physicians practicing in La Grande,
which is equivalent to earning another estimated 9,930 in base
salary not reflected in the numbers above. The Credit is applied to
Oregon taxes before FICA tax and the estimate is based on tax
brackets of 9% for State, 33% for Federal, 1.45% for Medicare and
6.2% for FICA.
