Job Summary: This role involves performing specialized imaging
procedures, including angiography, complex vascular and
non-vascular interventions, as well as neuro-interventional and
therapeutic procedures. You will also assist the Radiologist/PA.
Registration in both Radiography and Interventional Radiography is
required. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and position patients while
accurately selecting anatomical and technical parameters.
Administer contrast media and medications in accordance with
accepted practices and regulations. Monitor patients during
procedures and report any abnormal findings. Suggest updates to
protocols as necessary. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and
guidelines. Ensure compliance with standards set by regulatory
agencies. Maintain a state of alertness and safety at all times.
Perform additional duties as assigned. Education: Completion of a
Radiology Technology program. Experience: No prior experience is
necessary. Physical Requirements: Constant standing and walking.
Frequent use of vision for near (20 inches or less) and far (20
feet or more) distances. Regular use of hearing and speech for
effective communication. Ability to distinguish body sounds and
detect alarms or machinery malfunctions. Frequent lifting,
carrying, and pushing/pulling of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
Regularly assist in lifting and moving patients. Frequent reaching,
gripping, and data entry tasks. Occasional lifting of objects
weighing between 25-50 lbs. Occasional color vision for
identification tasks. Occasional bending, stooping, squatting,
twisting, and repetitive movements. Rarely kneeling or sitting.
