Job Description Certification Details - BLS - NRP - AWHONN/Fetal
Heart Monitoring Job Details - Current Washington State RN
Licensure or Nurse Compact License required. - 2 Years of Recent
Experience as a Mother/Baby Nurse in a Level III Trauma Center. -
Preference to be able to work Labor & Delivery (L&D) as well. -
Approximately 1000 deliveries per year. - Follow AWHONN Staffing
Standards. - Rooming in with Baby, some procedures completed in the
Well Baby Nursery. - Scrubs: Any solid color. - EMR system used:
EPIC. Job Requirements - Current Washington State RN Licensure or
Nurse Compact License. - 2 years recent experience as a Mother/Baby
Nurse in a Level III Trauma Center. - BLS certification required. -
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required. -
AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification required. - Suicide
Prevention Certification required (WA RNs & LPNs need proof of
completing 6 hours of Suicide Prevention Training). Schedule
Information - Contract length: 13 weeks. - Ratio: 1:3 Couplets.
Unit Specific Information - Number of beds: 8. - Ratio: 1:3
Couplets. - Some procedures completed in the Well Baby Nursery.
Additional Details - Facility is a 50 Bed Facility; Level 3 Trauma;
Rural Setting. - Specialty service areas include orthopedics and
sports medicine, podiatry, OB/GYN, gastroenterology, urology,
pediatrics (including pediatric psychiatry and pediatric
endocrinology), adult and internal medicine, pain management,
behavioral health, and family medicine.
