Position Details: Specialty: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Department: Gastroenterology Start Date: 01-02-2024 Reason for Coverage: Vacancy - Long-Term Permanent Search End Date: Ongoing Allowed Holidays: New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day Providers Requested: 1 Provider Type: Physician Request Type: Locum Tenens Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only EMR System: Cerner and eCW Facility Accepts Multiple Providers: Yes Practice Setting: Inpatient Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Hospital Stroke Certified: Yes Patients Per Shift: 14-16 Board Certified Requirement: Yes Fellowship: Required Minimum Board Certification: Certified Location: Near Ronald, WA Additional Information: The request is for IVCS Endoscopy coverage, approximately 1-2 weeks per month. The GI will not have Anesthesia support. Expect 14-15 scheduled (prepped) cases per day. This is primarily an outpatient GI role, but all endoscopy in our system is currently done in the inpatient setting.
