Roles & Responsibilities Perform high-quality CT exams, including CT angiography (CTA) of head, chest, abdomen and pelvis Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and efficiently, following radiation safety protocols Start peripheral IVs and prepare/administrate contrast media for enhanced imaging studies Acquire and process images in PACS and ensure correct labeling and data integrity Manage emergent and trauma imaging needs in the Emergency Department and acute care settings Collaborate closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to support timely patient care Maintain accurate charting (Epic preferred) and documentation for each study Provide compassionate imaging care across the lifespan from neonates to geriatrics Qualifications ARRT CT and/or ARRT R certification preferred BLS certification required or obtain upon hire Washington state radiologic technologist license (or ability to obtain) preferred Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience; travel experience required Proven ability to start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media Comfortable working night shifts (Wednesday through Saturday) and in a block schedule Experience with PACS and Siemens imaging equipment is a strong plus Familiarity with Epic or similar charting systems preferred Knowledge & Skills Computed Tomography (CT) and CT Angiography (CTA) techniques General X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head and chest Brain perfusion and vascular CTA protocols Contrast media preparation and administration Peripheral IV insertion and venous access skills PACS image management and DICOM workflow Experience with Siemens CT platforms and common imaging workflows Ability to care for patients across all age groups including pediatric and geriatric populations Trauma and emergency department imaging practices Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care Benefits Supportive travel assignment with predictable block scheduling so you can plan your life outside work Licensure assistance and certification reimbursement to keep your credentials current Professional development and on-shift mentorship to sharpen your CT and imaging skills Access to modern imaging equipment including Siemens systems and PACS Paid time off options and at least one pre-approved time-off request available Convenient orientation and team support when you arrive to get you up to speed A collaborative team environment where your patient-focused skills are valued Flexible scheduling conversations for qualified candidates who need adjustments Travel Perks: Explore Richland, WA Richland sits in Washington’s scenic Tri-Cities area on the Columbia River.
