Job Description Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for Surgical Tech that will provide support for our client's healthcare systems in Hermiston, Oregon. Job Description: Job Title: Surgical Tech Location: Hermiston, Oregon Schedule : 40 hours/week Shift: Days Contract Length: 13 Weeks Pay Range for Traveler: $2,300.00- $2,366.00 Weekly DOE Job Summary Assist in operative and invasive procedures by preparing and maintaining sterile instruments and supplies, ensuring a sterile field, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team throughout the procedure. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and organize sterile supplies & instruments Function as scrub person during procedures Assist with sterile draping Pass instruments and supplies during surgery Perform surgical counts with RN circulator Ensure sterility and take corrective action if needed Prepare sterile dressings Clean and prepare instruments for decontamination Assist with post-procedure room cleaning & setup Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality Participate in ongoing education & competency verification Float to qualified departments before core staff is floated Support hospital mission, policies & procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Required Certification & Experience: Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Surgical Tech experience required.
