Job Description Locums | General Surgery | Clinic Call | Pendleton, ORWhy This Role - Long-term coverage opportunity with schedule consistency - Balanced clinic, OR, and acute care experience - High autonomy with full-scope general surgery practice Assignment Details - One general surgeon working at a time - Coverage up to one year - Start as soon as credentialed - Monday through Friday clinic hours - 24-hour call coverage while on assignment - Block-style scheduling with continuity expectations Clinical Details - Acute care and clinic-based practice - Mix of scheduled clinic visits, OR cases, consults, and emergency surgery - Approximately 14–16 clinic patients per day - Roughly 10 surgeries per week with predominantly outpatient volume - Inpatient admissions average 2 per week - Trauma response required - EMR: Meditech inpatient and eCW clinic Requirements - Board Certified General Surgeon - Active Oregon license required - Residency or fellowship training in General Surgery - ACLS, BLS, DEA required - Clean malpractice history strongly preferred - Must be willing to practice full-scope clinic and hospital-based general surgery Compensation - Rates: Facility is accepting bids - Malpractice: Provided - Travel: Reimbursed
