Required Skills Valid medical license with privileges for ventilator management Demonstrated experience with ventilator management, including 15 vent cases in the past 24 months, documented with case logs Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations effectively Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems Knowledge of ICU and inpatient care protocols Nice to Have Skills Experience in a hospitalist role within an open ICU setting Certification in Critical Care Medicine (CCM) or Pulmonary Medicine Prior experience working in a healthcare facility with similar scope and case volume Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Preferred Education and Experience MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school At least 2 years of hospitalist experience, including vent management Proven track record of handling complex medical cases and documentation accuracy Other Requirements Must be able to provide detailed case logs for vent management covering the past 24 months Willingness to work day shifts (7 am - 7 pm), Tuesday to Tuesday, for 1-2 weeks per month Credentialing process must be completed prior to start date No travel required; local or regional candidates preferred This is a compelling opportunity for skilled hospitalists seeking to advance their careers while making a positive impact on patient lives.
