What You ll Do

• Provide anesthesia care across a high-acuity OR environment, including surgery and OB coverage needs
• Respond to on-call requirements during your 2-week block, including emergency surgery/trauma and OB needs
• Ensure timely response to hospital needs (ability to report within 20 minutes during the on-call period)
• Support pain management and related procedures, including procedures you are privileged/credentialed to perform
• Coordinate anesthesia services with the OR and OB teams to support daily case flow
• Deliver safe, patient-centered care consistent with facility standards and privileges
• Maintain professional documentation and compliance with required protocols

What You Need
Required

• Active CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) licensure/certification
• Ability to provide both surgical anesthesia and OB anesthesia coverage
• Availability for night 4x10-hour shifts and on-call responsibilities during 2-week blocks
• Ability to report to the hospital within 20 minutes when on-call

Preferred

• Experience/privileging for ESI (epidural steroid injections) and pain management
• Comfort supporting procedures aligned with your privileges (varies by candidate)

About the Assignment
This contract assignment supports a facility in John Day, Oregon with an active OR schedule and OB coverage needs. You ll work 4x10 night shifts (19 00), typically covering case days Tuesday and Thursday, while Monday and Wednesday cases may include ESI, pain management, or other procedures depending on your privileges. During the two-week block, you will be on call for OB, trauma, and emergency surgery needs.
