What You ll Do

• Cover in-house 24-hour call shifts as part of the Obstetrics & Gynecology coverage needs
• Evaluate and manage emergent obstetric/gynecologic cases coming through the Emergency Department
• Participate in care for conditions including (but not limited to) ectopic pregnancy, D&C, ovarian cystectomy, and hysteroscopy
• Support surgical care as needed for higher-acuity presentations, including hysterectomy and related complications
• Provide management for common GYN emergencies such as abscess, post-hysterectomy complications, and exploratory laparotomy
• Perform procedures/participate in care including IUD insertions when indicated
• Work collaboratively with the team, including midwives supporting MD providers on L&D

What You Need
