within our Engineering & Architecture department. This pivotal role
demands expertise in traffic engineering to enhance infrastructure
projects through innovative data-driven decisions and software
solutions. The ideal candidate will lead a team focusing on solving
urban traffic issues, optimizing flow, and implementing smart city
technologies to improve everyday life. Leading and supervising a
team of traffic engineers and planners to ensure project success
from conception to reality. Developing traffic management
strategies for diverse environments, leveraging the latest
technologies and data analysis. Conducting rigorous site analyses,
feasibility studies, and preparing detailed reports with actionable
insights. Maintaining consistent communication with project
stakeholders to clearly define goals, updates, and outcomes.
Ensuring all engineering projects comply with industry, local,
state, and federal regulatory standards. Contributing to innovation
in traffic engineering technologies and methodologies, integrating
software solutions for enhanced user experiences. Proficiency with
traffic engineering software such as VISSIM, Synchro, or HCS. Solid
understanding of traffic theory, transportation planning, and
system performance measures. Strong analytical skills for complex
data analysis and interpretation in a traffic context. Excellent
leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and
projects. Capability to innovate and apply cutting-edge technology
to solve conventional traffic issues. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed as a
Professional Engineer (P.E.) required. Certification in
Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) preferred.
