Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Physical Security Program Manager to lead our security efforts in the Americas. As part of the AWS security team, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security protocols for our data centers. The role demands a keen understanding of physical security principles and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll collaborate closely with both internal stakeholders and external security agencies to ensure AWS remains at the forefront of safety and compliance in the IT industry. Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive security strategies and protocols for AWS data centers Coordinate with internal teams and external security providers to enhance security measures and response strategies Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with local laws and company policies Manage teams responsible for security operations, including training and development Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements to keep security measures relevant and effective Handle crisis management and incident response, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and mitigating risks effectively Expert knowledge in physical security systems such as surveillance, access controls, and perimeter defenses Strong leadership and team management skills Proficient in security risk management and crisis management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze complex security data and provide actionable insights Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by ASIS International Physical Security Professional (PSP) Certification
