---Job Description----Job Description SummaryThis position is a memeber of the milking team that works collaboratively to produce a high-quality product. This position may fill in temporarily as the Lead Milker in case of need. Position reports to the Lead Milker.Job DescriptionAssists in checks in the set-up of milking equipment for leaks and other potential issues.Make sure that standard operating procedures (SOP''s) are being followed.Be present and ready to work on scheduled days and timeNotify Lead Milker of sick animals.Report any malfunction of milking equipment, hoses, washers and dryers directly to Lead Milker.Report any problems to Lead Milker.Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skill.Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.Report all unsafe activities to Supervisor and/or Human Resources.Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.Maintain good communication with all departments.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications1 to 3 months working experience or working with livestock, agricultureGood teamwork and communication skills.Operating farm/dairy machinery a plusby Jobble
