Builder Direct Mortgage Loan Officer Opportunity Overview



Attract and make real estate loans which meet Bank standards for economic value and safety to contribute to the long term profitability of the Bank's operations. Responsible for originating real estate loans from builders with existing spec and development relationships with Banner Bank. Responsible for originating construction to permanent loans for clients of builders with existing spec and development relationships with Banner Bank.

As a Builder Direct Mortgage Loan Officer with Banner Bank you will have the opportunity to:


Responsible for originating real estate loans from builders with existing spec and development relationships with Banner Bank.
Responsible for originating construction to permanent loans for clients of builders with existing spec and development relationships with Banner Bank.
Responsible for ensuring originated loans are set up in the Bank's computer system and processed through for submission to underwriting.
Identify opportunities and provide financing sheets for listings builder open houses. Attend weekend open houses and/or subdivisions for loan solicitation purposes.
Responsible for attending regular Builder Association meetings.
Responsible for attending internal training sessions, internal sales meetings, and external training opportunities as assigned.
Responsible for being available to take applications or meet with clients at Bank branch locations. Attend closing signing appointments as needed.
Responsible for promoting home ownership through community outreach efforts, specifically in the communities around designated branch location demonstrating inclusive marketing efforts to develop new leads, loans and bank relationships. Conduct first time home buyer classes at or in close proximity to branch, host booths at non-profit community events, etc.
