Our Columbia Basin offices provide intensive behavioral health
programs for Medicaid youth under the age of 21.Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Assistant is a key member of the Quality
Assurance and Improvement (QA&I) team that supports all aspects
of quality and compliance within the LCSNW's programs and plays a
major role in ensuring that staff are trained in the appropriate
use of the EHR, Credible, and adhere to documentation standards
consistent with excellent client care and in compliance with
contractual and regulatory guidelines. RESPONSIBILITIES: The
primary duties and responsibilities of the Quality Assurance
Assistant include, but are not limited to:Understand the goals and
objectives of each program; assist with developing, communicating,
and training to LCSNW's quality goals and guiding leadership and
staff toward maintaining and/or improving the overall quality of
each program. Review, evaluate, and approve service encounters
daily; engage in documentation reviews and audits to ensure charts
meet LCSNW quality standards and collaborate with staff and/or
supervisors on the correction of identified deficiencies. Provide
training and support to staff, in individual and group settings, on
the use of the EHR (Credible) and LCSNW documentation standards;
function as Credible Superuser for the Tri-Cities offices. Perform
administrative/data entry tasks related to Credible including
entering new client and staff information and updating information
as needed. Assist in preparing and reviewing reports extracted from
a variety of systems such as BHAS, Credible, Provider One, and
others as assigned.Assists in monitoring compliance with
Medicaid/MCOs, The Council on Accreditation (COA) , and other
Federal/State regulatory requirements. Assist QA&I Team in
preparing and participating in external audits as needed.Assist
with development of standard operating procedures applicable to
quality and quality improvement.Cross train to alternate duties as
necessary to cover inter-departmental and program
needs.PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS: Attend and participate in routinely
scheduled department and agency staff meetings.Complete all
required trainings and maintain required credentials and
certifications. Model and encourage direct, professional
communication and promote a positive work environment. Maintain
client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, agency policies
and other applicable laws.Recognize the value and strengths of all
cultures and maintain a professional problem-solving attitude while
dealing with cross-cultural challenges or conflictsFunction in
accordance with the LCSNW personnel and administrative policies and
procedures and administrative practices of the Columbia Basin
office.QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient in the use of personal computer
and corresponding programs; preferred experience with Microsoft
office, Google, and Gmail or similar web-based programs.Excellent
written and oral communication skills. This position requires a
strong grasp of formal English and excellent writing and editing
skills.Must have good organizational and time management skills.

Lutheran Community Services.Clearance through the Washington State
Patrol (background check) and verification of ability to work
around vulnerable populations is necessary. EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED2 years' experience in
Quality Improvement or related fieldIntermediate level in the use
of spreadsheets, such as Excel or Google Sheets, and word
processing programs, such as Word or Google Docs. CERTIFICATES,
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: CPR/First Aid Certificate within ninety
(90) days of employment and maintain a valid card during
employment. Washington State CANS certification. (Within 90 Days)
Clearance of Motor Vehicle Report to meet LCSNW insurance
requirements. Valid driver's license, proof of Insurance and
reliable transportation is required. Travel: In this role you will
be required to travel throughout the Benton and Franklin Counties
in Eastern Washington State. Mileage reimbursement will be
