Job Description:

Under the direction of the Director of Imaging Services and the Medical Director of Radiology performs mammography examinations, needle localizations, and needle biopsies with a high degree of accuracy and independent judgment. - Assists with FDA/ACR certification. -Responsible for performing radiology procedures by producing, accessing, and evaluating - images and related data used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis of adult and geriatric patients. Ensures that all required paperwork, medical record and billing applications are completed in an accurate and timely manner. -Performs a variety of procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. - Performs duties of radiology technologist as needed including DEXA procedures. - Maintains orderliness and cleanliness to insure aseptic conditions. - Assists with quality care and customer service initiatives and in meeting the financial viablity of the department. - Follows Trios Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards.
