OPEN POSITION: Corporate Lead Electrical Engineer (PE)



Office Location: Coeur d' Alene or Boise, ID, Salt Lake City or Kaysville, UT, or Kennewick, WA

J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is looking to expand our service offerings into electrical engineering and is seeking a Professional Electrical Engineer to lead a new Electrical Engineering Group at J-U-B. As a mid-size professional engineering company with 20 offices in the Northwest, J-U-B delivers client-focused solutions, while providing employees an enjoyable company culture and work-life balance.

Our team does a variety of projects for public and private clients that require electrical, instrumentation, and/or control design. The goal of this position is to build a team to -in source- that work while developing new clients. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a team, help define standards, and become a core leader at a successful, growing civil engineering firm with challenging projects and a team-first culture.



While applying technical engineering knowledge and skills, this engineering position will:

Develop and Lead J-U-B's Electrical Engineering Group with the collaboration of our Area Managers / Group Leaders and under the supervision of our Executive Committee.
Help market clients with our Project Managers.
Provide electrical engineering, instrumentation, and control design and project execution services related to facility planning, design, and construction phase services for various projects include primarily water supply and treatment, wastewater conveyance and treatment, industrial applications, and to a lesser extent transportation, airport, and municipal building projects, .
Manage projects or portions of projects including budget, schedule, QC, and deliverables.
Participate in all phases of project development, design and construction.
Collaborate with other engineers, planners and public agencies on projects.



Qualifications:

Bachelor degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering. Master's Degree is desirable.
10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience with increasing responsibilities.
A minimum of 5 years-experience in electrical engineering, instrumentation, and control system design for civil public works.
Certification as PE with the ability to gain comity in J-U-B's service area.
Proficiency in necessary computer software.
Excellent teamwork, communication and writing skills.
