We are a very busy dealership with steady workflow, an experienced service team, and a very up-to-date facility. Additionally, we offer the opportunity for very competitive income, benefits, and an enjoyable work environment.Responsibilities:Perform minor maintenance, e.G., changing engine oil and filtersPerform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levelsCommunicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaisonPerform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations, and headlight/taillight installationsMaintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repairConduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers' problems and provide accurate repair recommendationsInspect vehicles according to the state's requirements for emissions and safetyMaintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for company recordsPerform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with manufacturer/dealership standardsKeep current with new technical information and technology by attending required/recommended manufacturer trainingQualifications:Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environmentBasic mechanical understanding of an automobileStrong organizational skills and detail orientationExperience as an express/quick lube technician preferredBe at least 18 years of agePossess a valid in-state driver's licensePass a motor vehicle report and possess an acceptable safe driving recordSwickard offers a competitive package salary and benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life and pet insurance, optional disability coverage, paid holidays and vacation time and a 401K plan.Come join us be part of an amazing culture that's transforming the way customers feel about buying or leasing their next vehicle.
