Description:Professional Engineer (0-3 Years of Licensure) - Transportation Services GroupLocation: Kennewick, WAPosition Overview:The purpose of J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. J-U-B's transportation practice provides a variety of clients with transportation planning and engineering services. We are seeking an early career PE (1-3 years of licensure). This position will work closely with experienced Engineers and Project Managers to develop and deliver a variety of surface transportation projects for our local, state, and federal clients. This position will include:Develop the plans and specifications for primarily transportation projects for local agencies and State DOT's, including projects with both local and federal aid funds.Collaborate with traffic engineers, structural engineers, and other specialty disciplines to deliver a comprehensive package of reports, studies, and drawings to our clients. Operate the CAD (Microstation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D) to effectively produce layouts and models of transportation projects using current standards.Draft/write technical reports and studies including but not limited to design criteria, drainage, geometry, etc.Work in a team setting, reporting to and taking direction from a Senior Project Engineer.Requirements:Professional Engineer (PE) License required. Licensed in Washington state, or ability to obtain WA licensure within 90 days of hire 1-3 years of experience with licensure Bentley and AutoCAD software experience, preferredDemonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of co-workers and teams.Compensation: $90,000 - $112,000 annually, determined by experience.
