Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - PACU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 8.5-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM /n• Specialize in perioperative nursing practice /n• Perform nursing activities in pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia Phase I, and post-anesthesia Phase II care /n• Monitor local anesthesia patients in the operating room /n• Provide sedation for select procedures /n• Utilize nursing process, established standards of care, and policies and procedures /n• Act as patient advocate and supervise assigned personnel /n• Participate in regular scheduled on-call rotation for Post-Anesthesia Unit /n• Ensure quality care delivery for pre and post-procedure patients /n• Support mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures /n/n Facility: /n This medical center provides comprehensive surgical and perioperative services with a focus on quality patient care throughout the surgical experience.
